Course Introduction

A multitude of FM radio stations have mushroomed, and a huge number of print media publications compete for the reader's attention. These various genres are providing a great print and electronic media platform for aspiring journalists and technicians. Our course covers development of Creative Writing and Reporting Skills, Copy Editing and the Editorial Function, Photojournalism, Newspaper and Magazine Layout and Design, Spot Reporting for Radio & Television, Basics of Radio and TV Programme Production, Writing and Reporting for New Media like the Internet, and several other facets of Print & Electronic Media Journalism, through hands-on experience coupled with theoretical segments.
